For the package CLS 63 AMG, the 5.5-liter V8 twin-turbo has been upgraded to offer an impressive 600 HP from the standard 518 HP and 516 lb-ft of torque. Besides this, the tuner is offering a nice aero package that includes a new front spoiler, a front spoiler lip RS (available in real carbon), a new rear spoiler, a rear spoiler and a built-in diffuser, which works as a tailplane and provides extra downforce and more stable road holding at high speed.

The car sits on new 20 “wheels, five-spoke design.
For the interior, the tuner is offering the highest level of materials. Banks and door panels were covered with contrasting stitching Nappa Carlsson Carlsson. The contrast with Nappa leather sports steering wheel Alcantara, while the rest of the foot pedals and are both made of brushed aluminum. Other additions to the interior carpets are velvet foot with the logo of Carlsson and yank the carpet to match

To update the engine, Carlsson chose an optimization engine and a sophisticated technical performance kit that increases the production of V8 600 HP. The kit also includes the performance of a stainless steel rear silencer and two oval tailpipes for better sound.
The same performance kit can also be applied to smaller engines in the line-up. For the CLS 350 CDI, for example, the 265 horsepower can be increased to an impressive 320 hp and maximum torque was increased from 650-780 nm.

Carlsson may be offering a package of adjustment for patient CLS 63 AMG – after all it’s not every day you have the chance to see a dean of sports with such power – but, unfortunately for them, Brabus achieved much more than that. Brabus package for the CLS 63 AMG offers an exhilarating 730hp, not to mention their package more attractive abroad.
Carlsson new package will be available this April. Prices will be announced at the Geneva Motor Show 2011
